Kearney Community Sustainable Housing Mission Statement: "Kearney Community Sustainable Housing is devoted to addressing and responding to the immediate and future acute housing needs of Kearney area communities, individuals, and families." Our goals are to: 1) Reduce the impact of homelessness in Kearney area communities. 2) Boost the Kearney area workforce through increased short-term housing availability. 3) Provide decent, attractive, and safe environments for families. 4) Facilitate the efforts of existing local agencies who provide wraparound services to ensure the long-term success of our residents. 5) Put residents of our community on a path toward long-term, stable housing. These goals will be achieved through the construction and ongoing management of housing units in the Kearney community. The first six units are currently under construction at 2835 W. LaPlatte Rd Kearney, NE. ?
