Our team of highly trained advocates, therapists, and interviewers is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for individuals in need and their families. Our prevention programs teach individuals about consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention, and work to change societal attitudes and norms that contribute to sexual violence. By addressing the root causes of sexual violence and equipping individuals with tools to prevent it, these programs help create a culture of respect and safety in our community. Our services are offered in English and Spanish and are no cost to the client. In addition to our Forensic Interviewing, Advocacy, Therapy, and Education & Prevention services, Solace also houses the Santa Fe Police Department’s Special Victims Unit and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (S.A.N.E.) from Christus St. Vincent to provide a coordinated, survivor-centered response. This partnership ensures that survivors have access to all services under one roof, reducing the burden of navigating multiple systems. on their own. This set-up helps eliminate retraumatization and creates a setting that feels less institutionalized than a hospital or police station.
