EASTERN PLAINS COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY INC Helping People — Changing Lives Mission Statement: To assist low-income people in the Eastern New Mexico counties of Curry, Guadalupe, Quay, and Roosevelt, and provide services that empower, educate and enable them to become self-sufficient. Eastern Plains C.A.A., Inc., is a private, non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status. It was incorporated in 1969 for the purpose of providing social service programs for the low-income population of four Eastern New Mexico counties. Board of Directors The Board of Directors is seeking volunteer board members in the current areas: private sector, public sector, and low-income. The Board of Directors is comprised as follows: Not less than one member shall have a background and expertise in fiscal management or accounting. Not less than one member shall have a background and expertise in early childhood education and development. Not less than one member shall be a licensed attorney familiar with issues that come before the governing body.
