Heros Path Palliative Care Inc Our primary exempt purpose is to provide supportive community-based services to underprivileged children and families. We serve children who have medical complexity and disabilities and their families by offering short-break respite out of school learning opportunities and psychosocial support like bereavement support anticipatory grief counseling training in healthy coping with stress and medical trauma. We contract with highly trained pediatric nurses to assist the children at our programs so the children can participate safely.
