Greater New Orleans Mortgage Lenders Association The purposes of the GNOMLA shall be: A. To promote the common business interests of those engaged in the mortgage lending industry. B. To promote cooperative business transactions among its members to the extent allowed by law. C. To provide a forum through educational programs for the effective exchange of mortgage lending knowledge, trends, ideas and innovations. D. To promote and enhance the image of the mortgage lending profession throughout the state of Louisiana. E. To foster a broad understanding and acceptance of professional mortgage lending as a source of alternative financing. F. To protect the mortgage lending industry and the public through legislative actions. G. To promote the highest standards of professional practice and mortgage lending ethics. H. To promote a cooperative liaison with other related professional groups. I. To do any and all things that is lawful and appropriated in the furtherance of these purposes.
