POMONA ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY CENTER WelcomePomona Economic Opportunity Center is a non-profit day labor organization whose mission is to provide an opportunity for day laborers to find safe work at a fair wage, to obtain new trades and skills that improve their employability and quality of life, and to improve overall conditions for all immigrant workers. Learn More Programs Worker Rights Through the day labor center program, we help day laborers and domestic workers find employment, provide workplace protection resource, support with wage theft claims, advocate for policy change, and more. Immigration Services The PEOC is recognized by the Department of Justice, and our legal representatives are BIA Accredited to provide immigration legal services. Services can be obtained for free or at a low cost. We present information about immigration rights, available remedies, and changes in the law. Housing Justice We have been educating and protecting tenants for over 10 years and have been a driving force in tenant policy change, including the passage of Pomona's rent stabilization ordinance. Our work includes tenant education, tenant navigation, consultations, and policy advocacy. Hire A Worker We provide employers with the opportunity to hire day laborers and domestic workers.
