North East Trees Inc North East Trees (NET) creates greener communities through community-based urban forestry, nature-based design-build of parks, community engagement, and youth workforce development. Our projects, which take place in parks, schoolyards, public housing developments, and the City right-of-way, benefit communities that are disinvested, overburdened, and historically under-served. We are LA's oldest design-build non profit and a recognized leader across the State for actualizing grassroots community ideas to achieve projects that prioritize nature in neighborhoods that need them the most. We envision a Los Angeles where all neighborhoods have access to a healthy urban forest and outdoor spaces.
