JUNIOR BACH FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION The purpose of the Junior Bach Festival Association is to interest people particularly young people in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach The principal activity of the Association is to present an annual Festival consisting of a series of concerts held throughout the Bay Area as well as virtual online concerts featuring music written by or attributed to Bach performed by young musicians In this fiscal year 394 students registered to audition 174 were selected to perform in one of 11 live concerts in the Bay Area and 34 performed in the virtual concerts posted on YouTube All live concerts were recorded and posted on Youtube
