Since 2009, the HPCF has raised over $1.3 million to assist the Honolulu Police Department in purchasing equipment that could not be obtained through the normal budget process ($336K); to grant scholarships to students seeking higher education ($421K); and to furnish medical alert devices to seniors and disabled who live alone and are at risk of falling ($61K).About Us HALL OF FAME INDUCTEESThe Honolulu Police Department's Hall of Fame was established to honor those who have distinguished themselves through their outstanding contributions and service to the police department and to the community. The inductions began during HPD's Diamond Jubilee Gala Dinner on May 17, 2007. Since then, each year during Police Week (the week of May 15th) additional distinguished individuals have been inducted.
