Many of the programs that make Claire Lilienthal special result from the generosity of our community.We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, part of the California PTA (CAPTA), 100% volunteer organization, run by parents and teachers. As a parent participation school, we ask all families to actively participate and support our school. There are many ways to get involved, 100% participation is key to creating a successful school. GREAT WAYS TO GET INVOLVED: 1. Come to a PTA MeetingPTA Meetings are held every second Tuesday at 6:30 PM, at either Scott or Madison campus. VolunteerClaire Lilienthal is a “Parent Partnership” school, which means that all parents/guardians are encouraged and supported to actively participate in the school. Whether it’s in the classroom, chaperoning a field trip, helping out with the green schoolyard, or one of the many other volunteer opportunities presented throughout the school year, we welcome you to join us in the education of our children. Volunteer More Ways to Give Stay connected with ParentSquareParent Square is an online, password-protected, secure website where you can receive timely information about the CL community and PTA. Many classrooms use ParentSquare to coordinate events and improve communications between teachers and parents. The site also has a school directory that lets the PTA send weekly emails notifying you of upcoming events, community-building projects, and how to get involved. You do not need to register to receive emails. However, to send emails, post photos, edit or remove information, you need to register on ParentSquare.
