Mimi was truly the heart and soul of Friends of Alta. Her unwavering passion for safeguarding and nurturing the beautiful environment of Alta has inspired our work for over 40 wonderful years. As a devoted advocate, Mimi's love for Alta shone brightly in all that she did. Her spirit will forever be alive in our memories, through the lives that she touched, and through the nonprofit she so passionately helped establish. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Alta Lodge. We invite all who knew Mimi to join us in celebrating her incredible life. ​ In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to Friends of Alta or North Country School.
