THE QUEER TRANS PROJECT INC Line 17 Other Expenses The Queer Trans Project provides free Build-a-Queer Kits to transgender and nonbinary individuals across the United States These kits include gender-affirming items such as chest binders gaffs packers shapewear makeup health supplies and other essential resources In 2024 the organization shipped thousands of kits nationwide All costs associated with the creation and distribution of these kitsincluding shipping and rentare categorized as direct program expenses and reported in Line 16 Additional Context The Queer Trans Project became an independent 501c3 organization in June 2024 Prior to that it operated under a fiscal sponsorship and did not independently file IRS forms This return represents the first full tax year as a standalone nonprofit
