BUENA VISTA SPANISH IMMERSION SCHOOL PARENT ORGANIZATION SUPPORT SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, TEACHERS & STUDENTS: The Buena Vista Spanish Immersion School Parent Organization's mission is to support student success by building a positive bilingual school environment, engaging parents in their student's education and providing resources to enrich learning. BVPO supported Buena Vista Elementary over the 2024-2025 school year through fundraising and community-building activities, engaging parents and guardians in strengthening their children's education. Highlights included field trips, literacy support, purchase of new playground equipment, cultural events, Celebración de Otoño, appreciation for school staff, teachers, and volunteers, and other activities centered on bilingual and multicultural education of approximately 450 elementary school students and their families. Our key fundraising activities (Subasta, a dinner / auction beloved by families and the Reading Olympics) serve to enrich our school community.
