WPASTS

WPASTS The primary exempt purpose of WPASTS is education. WPASTS provides free Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education ACCME accredited educational activities to the cardiothoracic surgeons in practice or in training in the greater Western Pennsylvania region. Education is designed to feature national expert speakers and facilitates Western Pennsylvania cardiothoracic surgeons to provide evidence-based gold standard care in alignment with national guidelines and quality benchmarks to optimize the quality of clinical care provided to the Western Pennsylvania patient population. Provision of education and the planning fundraising for promotion and execution of WPASTS education activities constitutes the organizations exempt activities.
