The 1ST 180 The 1st 180 is a nonprofit organization focused on assisting persons who have recently reentered society after incarceration or rehabilitation from alcohol or drug use and abuse. Our focus is on what happens to them the first 180 days after their release. This is a crucial period which will determine whether they remain free to live on their own and whether they are able to do so productively and successfully. Our organization is designed to give them the tools they will need to restructure their lives. Our goal is to help them develop the skills needed to manage their lives in every arena - mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional - and to give them the knowledge and skills needed to sustain a life of independence.
