WRANGELL INSTITUTE FOR SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENT

WRANGELL INSTITUTE FOR SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENT WISE provides science and environmental education, support for scientific research, and shares the natural wonders of Alaska's Copper River Basin. We operate year round programs for all ages, including school based outdoor days, in-class science lessons, summer hikes and camps, recreational events, and community service events for the purpose of nurturing a stewardship ethic in our community, increasing scientific knowledge, and raising appreciation for the natural world.
