Little Anchor Child Care Scroll LITTLE ANCHOR. BIG ADVENTURES Serving NOAA and the surrounding communityOur program stresses learning through experience with an emphasis on self-direction and responsible free choice. Young children learn best through a "hands-on" approach, which encourages play orientated, active involvement with tangible materials. Through play, the child meets new situations, sets out to understand the circumstances, and in the process gains understanding and skill in problem solving. Our primary goal is that every student will be socially ready for kindergarten when they graduate from our program. We are open from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday- Friday. We are closed for all Federal holidays - including Juneteenth, Indigenous People’s Day, and Native American Heritage Day - and often for three days at Christmas - but otherwise open with no spring/summer/winter breaks, unless the NOAA campus is closed.
