PLANTAMNESTY PlantAmnesty's mission is to provide education, resources and advocacy to prevent mal-pruning and preserve urban greenspace. For more than thirty years, PlantAmnesty has been educating the general public and horticultural professionals on industry standard pruning of trees and shrubs to maintain the health of the urban landscape. The care and treatment of our urban forest has taken on high priority in the struggle against climate change as we rely on the carbon offset from older trees and plantings to clean our air and reduce temperatures. PlantAmnestys dynamic and professional classes, workshops and public events are cutting edge in this fight. We partner with the University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture, Tribal Communities, WWU Master Gardeners, Bellevue Botanical Gardens, Edmonds College Horticultural Program and many local garden clubs and professional arborists to bring the message of care to the community at large.
