FAMOUS FRIENDS INC OUR MISSION Everyone in town knows the teacher who inspires us, the nurse who cares for us, the police officer who makes us feel safe. They are the foundation of a vibrant community and to us, they are famous. There's just one problem though: these famous friends aren't guaranteed to stick around forever. Many are renters that lack the savings to purchase a home in town and plant roots. At Famous Friends it is our mission to remove this obstacle to homeownership by providing down payment grants to first-time homebuyers who serve in rural and urban communities that need them the most.
