Coles Victory Lap Making the journey of pediatric cancer more bearable for the children, families, and caregivers battling these awful diseases. COLE HENDERSON Cole, meaning “Victory”, inspires our mission. His journey motivates us to want to help other families navigate the challenges of pediatric cancer. Play Video Cole’s Victory Lap is a charitable organization whose main goal is to make the journey of pediatric cancer more bearable for the children, families, and caregivers battling these awful diseases. We make this possible by providing ‘nacks, drinks, sheets, in-room entertainment, and professional photographs. Currently, the following hospitals receive one or more of these services:Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SCShawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SCPrisma Health Midlands in Columbia, SCChildren’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), Emory Proton Therapy Center and Emory Photon Therapy Center in Atlanta, GAAtrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NCChildren’s National Hospital in Washington, DCWe believe that the small things really are the big things because we have seen the smiles these efforts have produced. And when you are a parent watching your child fight for their life, being poked and prodded daily by needles and instruments, and generally just feeling “yuck”, you rejoice and praise when you see your child smile. Your support will bring smiles, comfort and memories to families fighting pediatric cancer right now. It will also continue the drive to provide a permanent space for pediatric oncology/hematology in Greenville, SC.
