THE PSYCHOSOCIAL FOUNDATION
Data sourced from IRS 990 public filings
THE PSYCHOSOCIAL FOUNDATION The Psychosocial Foundation exists to advance our understanding of where the social, political, and psychological converge. About The Psychosocial Foundation Home to multiple persuasions within psychoanalysis—the tradition inaugurated by Sigmund Freud—our products and programming illuminate the psychogenic dimensions of culture and society, mental health and medicine, and political life. We are committed to the radical horizon of political emancipation, and we are a resource for clinics, universities, and the public alike. We offer short courses, our twice-annual Parapraxis seminar, lectures, and more. Our activities include publishing Parapraxis, a magazine of psychoanalysis on the left, hosting open, sliding-scale seminars, lectures, and short courses, a telephonic clinic, supervision groups, and movement psychoanalysis/ group consultation.
