TONOPAH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION Our mission is to improve the quality of life and revitalization of the business climate while preserving our unique, historical past. We serve over 60 businesses in town and receive donations by a majority of them. We provide services such as funding information, resources, tips and tricks. Additionally, we host regular events that entice people to visit our local businesses. We offer a Storefront Improvement Grant Program and training for small businesses. We promote our town as a tourism destination. Furthermore, we sell models of historic structures as a fundraiser for the organization but also to document the buildings' history and educate the general public about our historic assets. Lastly, we create murals and monuments in town and maintain 50 downtown planters to beautify our town and make it more attractive for locals and tourists.
