Western States Hereford Association Inc The primary function of the Western States Hereford Association, Inc., which is a volunteer group, is to stage the Western Nugget National Hereford Show. In turn the purpose of this cattle show is to promote the Hereford cattle breed. The show is held annually in December at the Reno Livestock Events Center in Reno, Nevada. This activity takes 100% of the time and resources of the Western States Hereford Association, Inc. and is the only activity of the association. Net earnings will not benefit any member.
