BARISH FOUNDATION INC The specific purposes of the Corporation are to renovate Truxtun Skate Park or establish a new skate park in Annapolis through fundraising, grants and outside donations. Our other goals include setting up scholarships in Tameron's (a member of the skate community who passed away) name for low-income youth to attend skateboarding camps. We also hope to increase the number of skateboarding camps at Truxtun, provide equipment for low-income youth, and educate the local community about the benefits of skate boarding. Long term goals include helping other communities like Annapolis and spreading awareness about skateboarding. We want to contribute disarming the stigma of skateboarders being criminals.
