BUTTERFLY GIRLZ

BUTTERFLY GIRLZ Butterfly Girlz is an 18-week prevention/intervention afterschool group mentoring program established to inspire and motivate pre-adolescent girls to become confident and courageous leaders, build character skills, and increase academic and school engagement. The program services are offered at no cost to 3rd thru 5th grade girls in disadvantaged, under resourced communities of Las Vegas. The Butterfly Girlz program exposes participants to cultural and enrichment opportunities without financial barriers. Our goal is to offer services to 20 girls annually. The Butterfly Girlz program also focuses on the emotional and mental health wellbeing of our participants by incorporating mindfulness, meditation, and yoga practices into our sessions.
