Hamptons Pride Inc This is an organization that will celebrate and commemorate the cultures of the gay, lesbian, bi, trans, queer, and + populations on the east end of Long Island, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the historym accomplishments, and talents of these individuals and communities. The founding goal of the origanization will be the creation and maintenance of an historical marker and social area on the footprint of The Swamp (the last and longest-running gay club in the Hamptons) in what is now Wainscot Green, a park in the Town of East Hampton.
