Welcome to Diné C.A.R.E.​Diné Citizens Against Ruining our Environment (Diné C.A.R.E.) is located on the Navajo Nation and is a non-profit organization that works with many Navajo communities affected by energy and environmental issues. Since the late 1980s, community people have stood up to demand environmental protection and sustainable development practices, bringing systemic changes in tribal politics and making the grassroots voices evident in the realm of energy development. ​This website provides updates, news, alerts, and a host of information pertaining to the energy issues affecting the Navajo Nation. ​ Ahé'hee! Thank you for visiting.OUR MISSION ​​ Diné C.A.R.E.’s mission is to advocate for our traditional teachings by protecting and providing a voice for all life within and beyond the Four Sacred Mountains. We promote regenerative and sustainable uses of natural resources consistent with the Diné philosophy of life.OUR VISION ​​ Our vision is to practice our sacred duty and responsibility of the Diné by revering and protecting hózhó of the natural world for future life. OUR VALUES​ ​ We are grounded in Diné tradition with our Tádídíín. We speak with the understanding that our words carry the power of prayer. We have reverence for the interconnectedness of all life. We defend all life, because all life forms have rights. We know that the decisions we make today impact future life. We protect Diné Bikéyah for future generations.
