Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine The purposes for which the Corporation is formed are exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (or corresponding provisions of anyfuture United States internal revenue law) (the "Code"). In furtherance of these purposes, the Corporation may engage in all lawful activities and pursuits consistent with the powers described in the Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act and authorized by Code Section 501(c)(3), including, but not limited to, promoting education and health care. The Corporation will do this by providing student scholarships, funding faculty and student participation in research activities which have direct impact on community health care issues and needs, and supporting community outreach activities to provide engagement opportunities with the local, state, national, and international communities served.
