MEDICAL MINDS MATTER INC Medical Minds Matter has a vision of dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health issues in the field of medicine. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: to provide a platform for all individuals in the medical profession - from the pre-medical student to the attending physician - to share their struggles with mental health, with the option of staying anonymous, in order to break the culture of silence and professional stigma and to educate the medical community about mental health; to spread the mission of mental health advocacy, bolster mental health literacy, and promote peer-support efforts throughout the medical profession by starting affiliate chapters at healthcare workplaces, medical schools, and pre-medical programs; and to undertake mental health advocacy efforts in the medical field, working with existing institutions and entities to advocate for improvements that include, but are not limited to: wellness curriculums at institutions.
