Edgemoor Research Institute Edgemoor Research Institute's mission is to bring together non-profit, for-profit, government, end users and other stakeholders to work together to share knowledge and establish voluntary technical solutions to complex data-related public policy challenges: 1. With respect to the Internet, to (a) research and develop concepts underlying data registration directory services that encompass the needs of the multiple communities that collect, process and use registration data; and (b) develop a voluntary and flexible framework and model for expressing registration data directory services policies; 2. To develop methodologies for building similar frameworks and models in other fields; 3. To engage in research to analyze and compare policies, create tools to facilitate such research and make them available for general use; 4. To engage in educational initiatives, including by convening multi-party discussions and decision making processes.
