NORTH PROVIDENCE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY To prevent cruelty to animals by promoting animal welfare through providing programs including Community Support, which provides financial assistance to families who cant afford veterinary care for their pets, Pet Food Distribution which provides pet food and supplies to families in need, and Trap Neuter Release, which stops the breeding cycle of feral cats to reduce the population of them. The organization distributed $3,487 of pet food and supplies through its Pet Food Distribution Program, provided $10,636 in veterinary assistance to pets through the Community Support Program, and provided $15,095 to spay and neuter expenses of feral cats through the Trap Neuter Release Program.
