FRICTION PERFORMING ARTS

FRICTION PERFORMING ARTS To promote and present classical and contemporary music through performances by or including Friction Quartet and its members; To commission, promote, and premiere new musical compositions that include string quartet; To record classical and contemporary music, and share those recordings with the public. The corporation may choose to participate in the sale of physical or digital albums of any such recordings when appropriate; To develop and present interactive educational and community outreach programming; and To engage in performance and instruction through residencies and masterclasses at educational institutions, festivals, conferences, and other applicable establishments.
