National Weather Service Forecast Road2HomeWe support our neighbors experiencing homelessness and housing instabilities while they are on their road to home. Hundreds of community members live on the streets, in their cars, or are doubled up with friends and family.Your donation to Road2Home will help us furnish apartments, provide case management services, respond to individuals in crisis and help connect them to resources in the community. About Us Road2Home is a nonprofit serving community members experiencinghomelessness in Whatcom County. We provide enhanced shelteringand case management at Gardenview Village. We also provide vitalconnections to the community through our Volunteer Ally Program,while working to reduce stigma about homelessness in ourcommunity. In the past, Road2Home has responded to community needs and various temporary projects by providing winter shelters and other emergency programs as needed. Overview of Programs Gardenview Village Gardenview Village is a tiny home community in Bellingham (opened in October 2021) for adults and couples experiencing homelessness, with a focus on those 55+ and medically fragile. Volunteer Ally Program We provide opportunities for community members and individualscurrently experiencing homelessness and housing instabilities toconnect, build community, understanding, and work towardspersonal goals together. Winter Weather Programs Road2Home has provided temporary emergency programming during the Winter months since 2021, first with the COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine Facility, followed by a daytime and overnight Severe Weather Shelter in 2022. During the winter of 2023, Road2Home supported our community by operating a three-month continuous Winter Shelter in partnership with the City of Bellingham and Whatcom County Health and Community Services.
