Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium The Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium (MMRC) is a community consortium consisting of health care systems with a mission to implement a rapid response medical strategy to provide Minnesota the highest survival in the world from out of hospital cardiac arrest. Highly specialized, critical care teams consisting of MDs, nurses, and paramedics from participating health care systems are deployed to hospital emergency departments across the metro region, to intensively intervene in cardiac arrest cases by beginning extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and other critical care services with a target of 911-call to ECMO support less than 40 minutes. Mobile ECMO will address those defibrillated patients who do not get a pulse back and will increase their survival rate by providing state of the art care until the problematic heart rhythm and cause of the arrest can be addressed in a hospital setting. MMRC's service program will significantly improve survival rates for cardiac arrest
