Earth Shot Project Inc if not now then when? if not me then who? IT’S TIME TO STAND UP TO THE REGIME The nation I grew up in had a government built on checks and balances designed to prevent gross abuses of power. American government and institutions were known for acting with competency and reason in complex matters, and investing in strength, for example, in science, education, and public health. This same nation is now run by grifters who pump money into billionaires’ bank and crypto accounts, while sowing greed, anger, ignorance, misery, insecurity and sickness across the nation and the earth. How can I, a beneficiary of sane leadership from days gone by, sit by in silent inaction while the future hangs in the balance? In this nation, past and present, elected officials take an oath to protect the constitution. 47 and his loyalists have attacked the constitution, rolling back protections under the 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments, while openly calling to invalidate amendments 19 and 22 as well. How can those of us in a position to show courage fail to stand up for the rights of all americans? I am marching because 47 uses his office to run a protection and extortion racket, threatening our universities, law firms, local governments, and businesses to do his will or pay. His ill-gotten gains funnel even more wealth into the accounts of the already obscenely wealthy and empowered. If we know this to be true, should we not speak openly among all americans, and demand arrests and removals from public office? I march because the regime has cancelled science and weaponized a twisted sense of religion; targeted elected officials, union organizers, veterans and journalists; brutalized americans for no reason other than how they look or what free speech they practice. I march because 47 is a cynical, mentally unstable criminal who has made our nation a rogue state, a laughing stock, a flaming flare signalling our enemies around the world to make their move. We Americans, together, are the only ones who can stop the descent into more madness. I march to join a movement of courageous peacekeepers and constitution protectors, and by calling for the immediate removal of this regime, so that we may resume the fight for restoration of competent, trustworthy administration and leadership of the united states government.
