Washington Montessori Institute WMI's primary mission is to prepare adults to lead a community of children, supporting all aspects of development. This rigorous training inspires and challenges students in the transformative experience of becoming authentic Montessori teachers. This mission is accomplished by encouraging diversity of race, gender, ethnic origin, economics and opinion in our community and fostering a cooperative relationship among students, faculty, and the Montessori community at large.
