DAY 3 SEEDS INC About UsCore Purpose Mike and Jean Mueller are pleased to announce the beginning of a new Christian agriculture development outreach – Day 3 Seeds, a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization. The core function of #day3seeds is Vegetable Seed development, focusing on open-pollinated vegetable species, specifically of varieties which will prove useful in developing nations where such efforts are currently lacking.GoalsDay 3 Seeds focuses on Christian agriculture Vegetable Seeds with the Gospel Message To identify vegetable varieties most wanted and/or needed in regions of the world, and then produce stock seed of those identified; To collaborate with Christian agronomists and in target areas; To teach seed development and seed saving to these agronomists, who in turn teach the people they serve; And, share such seed and knowledge alongside willing workers WITH the Gospel message of the ‘Seed of Faith’ found in Jesus the Christ, our Savior from sin. Why and WhereDay 3 Seeds believe that the seed of Creation is still a great gift to all man. We know that God still says of his seed like he did on day three of Creation – “It is Good.” So, we shall strive to send out Good Seed. Thank you for your friendship as we strive to do all we can for the ‘least of these’ among us. The ‘people’ we strive to serve initially are in three regions: 1. East Africa, 2. Central America, 3. West Africa. The ‘impact potential’ is huge – the majority of the world’s population growth projected by 2050 is in these three regions, as well as the slowest economic development. As we begin this Christian agriculture effort today, lives shall be positively impacted tomorrow.
