With the success of this project, we are addressing both the need for welcoming and affordable housing and services that are intentionally LGBTQ-affirming. The Pryde opened its doors to residents in June 2024.Beyond the establishment of this first community, we will continue to explore opportunities to develop additional sites as well as partner with other organizations to help make other senior housing LGBTQ-affirming, as we believe that all senior housing should be welcoming and safe for LGBTQ seniors.
