Jack London Yacht Club Mission StatementThe Club is a non-traditional yacht club. The mission of the Club is to promote community development through social events, fundraising and friendly yachting competition, and to assist Members of the Club in becoming proficient in such pursuits; to provide a meeting place for the Members; to foster the mutual exchange of ideas and the development of common interests with respect to community activity;to preserve the historical records and artifacts of the Club;to promote social activities among Club Members; to gather and disseminate such information as the Members may desire in the conduct of their community activities;and to encourage an intellectual contact among the Members of the corporation and the Members of other associations devoted to similar pursuits.
