ASSURANT CARES EMPLOYEE SUPPORT FUND The Assurant Cares Employee Support ACES Fund provides emergency financial assistance to Assurant employees who encounter extraordinary hardships due to catastrophic natural disasters such as floods hurricanes earthquakes fires or similar crisis circumstances beyond their control or the control of their families. In 2020 the ACES Fund Board approved a special resolution to provide emergency financial hardship grants to Assurant employees adversely affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic to assist with food housing child elder care and similar essential and immediate needs. A special COVID-19 Emergency Task Force was put in place for this special initiative that launched in March 2020 and wrapped up in August 2020.
