SOCIETY FOR BIODIVERSITY PRESERVATION As custodians of biodiversity conservation, our mission is to protect our natural heritage from the adverse impacts of pollution, habitat degradation, climate change, and other human activities through Applied Conservation, Education, and Advocacy of Science-Based Policy. Our efforts are focused on: environmental literacy to educate citizens on the importance of local flora and fauna; promoting citizen action and partnering with diverse stakeholders to reclaim and preserve local habitats and native ecosystems. We strongly advocate science-based policies and support scientific research in promoting the strategic and sustainable use of natural resources. We serve as a portal for understanding and engaging with the natural world through conservation training, supporting local habitat restoration projects, and contributing to ecosystem research initiatives.
