Originally incorporated as a swim club in 1928, the Hopewell Quarry was purchased in August 2021 by Friends of Hopewell Quarry - a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving this historic resource as protected open space and, through it, serving the public in perpetuity.Your safety is our top priority.Anyone age 7-17 must pass the Quarry swim test. No one under 7 is permitted in the Quarry.
