POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE OF KCKS The PAL provides free access to mentoring and enrichment programs for low-income youth in the urban core of Kansas City, KS. After-school and summer programs are designed to create positive relationships with police officers and adult mentors that help kids avoid crime, violence and negative influences while developing skills and confidence. Our innovative programs such as Driver's Education, fitness, gun safety, gardening & healthy cooking, low-rider bike club, art and academic tutoring help disadvantaged youth ages 8-18 develop mind, body and spirit. PAL kids learn valuable practical skills as well as communication and teamwork soft skills that will prepare them to be good members of the workforce in our community.
