Idaho Association of Health Plans Inc The Association is organized 1) to promote the development of managed care insurance, 2) to engage in research and provide a forum for discussion in the field of managed care health insurance, 3) to express the view of the Association as to matters affecting managed care health insurance, 4) to promote, comment on, analyze and monitor appropriate managed care legislation, 5) to provide a sounding board for the State Department of Insurance regarding managed health insurance matters, 6) to develop a professional relationship with all regulatory agencies who might affect the managed care health insurance industry, and 7) to engage in such other activities as will further the purpose of the Association.
