We believe that no child should have to walk through life plagued by bullying, social isolation and insecurity from a deformity that they could not control. ​ The John Lester Foundation was born from the belief that every child should have the ability to smile, to make friends, and to have the self-confidence to live a prosperous life. ​ For children with facial deformities whether caused by birth defect, trauma or diseases like cancer they are unfairly challenged with a life without these basic simplicities.
