Montana Urban and Community Forestry Association MUCFA is a 501 C 3 organization with a purpose to 1 promote and encourage urban forestry public awareness education and volunteerism 2 Assist and advise the MT DNRC on their Urban Community Forestry program 3 Cultivate cooperation among agencies groups and individuals and advises the people of Montana and local state and federal officials on urban forestry issues and concerns 4 Encourage and promote planting maintenance and management of trees in municipalities and counties within Montana according to industry standards 5 solicit funds for and promote association projects and activities MUCFAs mission is to encourage and promote the management expansion and improvement of community forestry programs for the benefits of the citizens of Montana
