In 2016 a non-profit organization, the Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation, was created to oversee the preservation and sustainability of the Hauberg Estate, Mansion and Gardens. Their accomplishments and on-going efforts can be seen throughout the mansion and the grounds. Listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1972, this Prairie-style mansion sits majestically atop a hillside in Rock Island, Illinois.
