Maine Irish Heritage Center The Maine Irish Heritage Center is the Hub of All Things Irish in Maine. Our mission is to provide a community resource where connections to Maine's Irish history and culture can flourish. Initiatives supporting the mission include:-Protecting, preserving and restoring the national historic landmark that was formerly St. Dominic's Church, a hub of early Irish community in Maine;-Providing a center for Maine's diverse communities to share their cultural experiences through educational programs and community events;-Housing Maine's Irish Genealogical Center, Museum, Archives and Library, preserving the story of Irish history in Maine.
