Areté designs afterschool and summer programming that exposes youth to diverse career pathways; builds academic, wellness, and leadership skills; and expands access to the arts and culture. Arete is able to provide comprehensive services to 1500 students and families across New York City each year.Our ProgramsAreté Education is dedicated to providing high-quality programming and enrichment in education, financial literacy, STEM, the arts, and health to empower youth. Our comprehensive wraparound programs include afterschool, summer school, weekend sports, and career-connected learning. We deliver 5,000 extra hours of academic and extracurricular experiences annually, focusing on careers, literacy, wellness, and the arts.The Areté WayArete Education challenges the status quo by providing academic, social, and emotional support to students while working hand in hand with the school the students attend. We extend the traditional school day, week, and year with enhanced learning experiences that are fully integrated into school communities.
