United Steelworkers (USW) Local 13-1 The mission of this organization is to improve the wages and working conditions of our members through collective bargaining and to provide fair representation for them through the grievance and arbitration procedure. It is also our goal to provide support for our members in the event of a strike or lockout to educate them about their rights as union members and to organize the unorganized so they can more fully enjoy the fruits of their labor.
